HOW IT ALL BEGAN
What started in 2021 with just two people and a Bible has grown into something far greater than we ever imagined. At the time, we had no idea what God was doing behind the scenes. All we knew was that we were being called to something deeper—and even though we stepped out reluctantly, we stepped out in faith.
From quiet beginnings in a living room to a growing community of 20 (and counting!), Beyond the Walls has become a testament to what happens when you remain faithful, even when the path is unclear. We've seen lives changed, connections formed, and hearts set on fire for God—all from saying “yes” to a small start.
This journey has been filled with learning curves, bold prayers, and so many moments of awe. We never expected to build something that would reach beyond four walls, but God's plans were always bigger.Here’s a timeline of how it all unfolded
Here's a quick look at how far we've come:
November 2021 — It all began with home Bible studies. We were hesitant at first, unsure of where it would lead. But we showed up, opened our Bibles, and trusted God to move—and He did.
January to February 2022 — We started recording our studies on Zoom, which allowed others to join us virtually. What began as a small circle started expanding as people from different locations tuned in.
September 11, 2024 — We took a leap of faith and went live on Facebook. It was a big moment for us, sharing the Word publicly and stepping out in a way that felt both exciting and nerve-wracking. But it allowed us to reach people we never could have reached otherwise.
November 2024 — Beyond the Walls officially became a registered business entity. What started as a small gathering became a structured movement, with the vision to equip, encourage, and expand God’s kingdom outside traditional spaces.
And this is only the beginning. We’re growing day by day, and we know that God is just getting started.
